      <description>Location: Coleshill | Salary: 35.00-35.00 Hourly | Type: Contract | Our client is a well established manufacturer that are seeking an experienced Design Engineer to support on an initial 3 month contract based in Birmingham.  Job Responsibilities  Design and develop commercial retail refrigeration equipment using SolidWorks 3D CAD. Produce detailed engineering drawings, Bills of Materials (BOMs), technical documentation and design change records. Design manufacturable sheet metal components and assemblies for production. Work closely with UK and overseas suppliers to support manufacturing, resolve technical queries and drive continuous improvement. Support New Product Introduction (NPI) projects and day-to-day engineering activities. Ensure designs meet customer requirements, manufacturing capabilities and relevant engineering standards. Support product testing, compliance activities and development laboratory projects where required.  Skills Required  Proven experience using SolidWorks 3D CAD within a manufacturing or product design environment.
