Design Engineer

This Design Engineer role puts your Inventor and AutoCAD skills to work on specialist equipment used by customers around the world.
You''ll master a niche process few engineers ever get to learn, with full training and a salary review built in from the start.

As a Design Engineer, your responsibilities will include:

• Producing accurate 2D and 3D designs and drawings using Inventor and AutoCAD
• Applying engineering calculations to solve design challenges involving materials, stress/strain and hydraulic systems
• Building specialist knowledge of the company''s process to provide expert technical support to customers
• Contributing across all areas of the business as priorities require
• Supporting customers at international sites when required

As a Design Engineer, your experience will include:

• A solid grounding in mechanical engineering design, both 2D and 3D
• Proficiency in Inventor and AutoCAD
• Sound understanding of materials, stress/strain and hydraulic systems
• Confidence carrying out and applying engineering calculations
• Competence with Word, Excel and email
• A methodical, structured approach to your work, ideally gained within manufacturing or engineering
