Design Engineer

Design Engineer (ground improvement) This challenging and exciting opportunity requires an individual with a good technical background and demonstrable experience in taking the responsibility for producing designs from within the geotechnical engineering sector, specifically including ground improvement schemes. Specific design experience requirements are rigid inclusion and vibro stone columns (VSC), with PLAXIS 2D / 3D software expertise being essential. This role is hybrid with 3-4 days at home and 1-2 days in the office. The successful Design Engineer candidate must be able to review enquiry documentations to determine the key considerations associated with proposed projects. Our client seeks a high calibre candidate with enthusiasm and drive to make an impact. You must have strong technical acumen coupled with a general passion for ground engineering. You will also have a professional approach and a keen eye for detail, along with excellent communication and IT skills.
