Supplying into aerospace, defence and marine industry sectors, our product range is huge and varied. This is a hands-on role focused on developing new products, improving existing designs, and working closely with customers, suppliers, and internal teams to deliver high-quality engineering solutions. Commutable from Solihull, Redditch, Birmingham, Bromsgrove, Stratford-Upon-Avon, Alcester, Bidford-on-Avon, Worcester, Pershore, Alvechurch, Henley-in-Arden, Shirely and Halesowen Duties Design and develop new product concepts through to final production designs Modify and improve existing products as directed by the Engineering Manager Liaise with customers and suppliers to support product development Provide initial design concepts to support the Sales team Work closely with Production to ensure efficient assembly and manufacture Contribute to cost-reduction initiatives and engineering improvement projects What We re Looking For Experience using 2D and 3D CAD software (SolidWorks preferred) Basic understanding of GDandT Ability to carry out tolerance stack calculations To have some exposure of ..... full job details .....
