Due to continued growth, an opportunity has arisen for a CAD Designer / Design Engineer to join the team in Leicester.The RoleThis is a varied design role where you will be involved in developing practical, manufacturable design solutions across a range of bespoke projects.You will work closely with internal production teams, project managers, and suppliers to take designs from initial concept through to detailed manufacturing drawings and final delivery. The role is suitable for candidates at different levels of experience depending on capability.Key ResponsibilitiesProduce 2D and 3D CAD designs using SolidWorks (or similar)Develop detailed manufacturing drawings and technical packagesWork on design concepts through to full production-ready solutionsCreate BOMs and support materials schedulingLiaise with production, joinery, fabrication, and installation teamsEnsure designs are practical, cost-effective, and manufacturableSupport prototype ..... full job details .....
