The role involves carrying out design and costing for connections schemes and power distribution network upgrades, including: Analysis and studies of LV and 11kV networks Design for cable replacements, underground and overhead line networks Design of cable diversions Design for power distribution network reinforcement Design of LV and HV connections Customer liaison Ensure designs are in line with project scope and meet OFGEM requirements Qualfications and Experience: Previous-experience-in-HV-connections-or-general-HV-network-design-up-to-11kV-with-a-DNO,-IDNO-or-ICP Understanding of NERS Knowledge of-DNO-and-IDNO-design-standards and scheme approvals Knowledge of Grid Code and CDM regulations Degree in Electrical and Electronic Engineering (or equivalent) Driving licence This is a great opportunity for an HV Design Engineer to join a respected power engineering consultancy wirh an excellent reputation for career development and progression on a significant DNO framework.
