Design Engineer (Aerospace Fuel Systems)6-Month PAYE ContractLocation: South Molton Contract Type: PAYE Contract Duration: 6 MonthsThe OpportunityWe are currently seeking an experienced Design Engineer to join a leading aerospace engineering organisation on an initial 6-month PAYE contract. This role will focus on the design and detailing of aerospace fuel system products, ensuring designs meet performance, manufacturability and assembly requirements while complying with aerospace and industry standards.This is an excellent opportunity for an engineer with strong CAD experience and a background in complex mechanical or aerospace product design to work within a global engineering environment.Key ResponsibilitiesProduce detailed engineering designs using CAD platforms including Creo and MicroStation.Create and modify 3D models and engineering drawings for new and existing products.Review and perform quality checks on engineering drawings produced by both local and global teams.Conduct Design for Manufacturability and Assembly (DFMA) assessments.Provide manufacturability input during concept development and support prototype builds to validate designs.Lead sustaining engineering activities and development projects independently.Develop innovative product concepts for aerospace applications.Work closely with global cross-functional engineering teams.Ensure all drawings and technical documentation comply with aerospace standards and engineering best practice.Drive continuous ..... full job details .....
