Design Engineer / Junior Design Engineer 30,000 - 40,000 per annumTetburyMonday - Friday Full-time About the OpportunityThis position offers an excellent opportunity to work on a varied range of mechanical design projects within a modern manufacturing environment. Working closely with production and assembly teams, you will have the opportunity to see your designs progress into finished products while developing your technical and commercial engineering skills.We welcome applications from both Junior Engineers eager to learn and grow, as well as more experienced Design Engineers ready to make an immediate contribution. Key Responsibilities- Design Engineering: Design mechanical components, assemblies and equipment from engineering briefs. Produce detailed 3D models and manufacturing drawings suitable for production.- Shop Floor Collaboration: Work closely with production, manufacturing and assembly teams to gather practical feedback, resolve design issues and continually improve designs.- Design and Data Management: Maintain accurate engineering drawings and documentation, prepare Bills of Materials (BOMs), support costing activities and manage design changes.- Layout Design and Concepts: Create 3D models, 2D drawings, general arrangements and engineering layouts to support projects and customer requirements.
