Design Engineer

Inspire Resourcing Ltd are recruiting a Design Engineer for a client in South Yorkshire. This role is based largely in their South Yorkshire office, with occasional UK site visits. Key responsibilities: Produce conceptual designs, supported by relevant calculations and analysis. Manage individual design and mechanical engineering projects from initial design to final commissioning. Create detailed manufacturing drawings. Liaise with other engineers and the wider team, workshop colleagues and client representatives throughout the project lifecycle. Essential qualifications / experience / capabilities Degree level qualification in a relevant engineering discipline, or a minimum of HNC level. Demonstrable experience in a mechanical and manufacturing environment. Understanding of design experience in a diverse client/sector base. Ability to work on individual projects from initial design to final commissioning. Experience with 3D CAD packages Knowledge of Finite Element Analysis (FEA). ..... full job details .....
