Design Engineer

Do you have experience taking products from concept through to production and enjoy getting involved with CAD, prototyping, testing and manufacturing? This could be an excellent opportunity to join a specialist engineering business working on highly technical, safety-critical products.Impact Recruitment are currently working with a specialist UK manufacturer of safety-critical respiratory protective equipment, supplying products to industrial and military customers. They are looking for a Design Engineer to take ownership of projects across the full product lifecycle, working closely with manufacturing, quality, customers, suppliers and external testing organisations. This is a hands-on role offering genuine variety beyond CAD, including product development, prototyping, testing, technical support and problem solving.Location: Aldershot Hours: Monday - Thursday, 07:30 - 17:00 and Friday, 07:30 - 12:30 Salary: 45,000 - 55,000 (depending on relevant experience and technical capability) Contract: PermanentDuties:Design and develop safety-critical mechanical products for industrial and military applications.Take products from initial concept through design, 3D modelling, prototyping, testing and production.Produce detailed engineering drawings and 3D CAD models.Support manufacturing with design and technical queries.Work on product improvements and new product development ..... full job details .....
