This role involves designing a range of electromechanical products while providing technical support to both the NPI and Sales teams.The ideal candidate will be based within a commutable distance of Swansea, Port Talbot, Bridgend, or Cardiff. This is an excellent opportunity for someone looking to broaden their skillset within a dynamic business that supplies to diverse markets, including rail, defence, automotive, and aerospace.Roles and Responsibilities:Design sheet metal enclosures, brackets, and mounting solutions for harnesses and control panels using CAD (SolidWorks, Inventor)Develop and modify low-pressure injection mould tool designs, coordinating with tooling suppliers to ensure overmould compatibility.Generate and maintain engineering drawings and BoMs for internal and external stakeholders.Work with NPI, sales, and production teams to ensure design intent is maintained through to manufacture.Specify tooling requirements for low-pressure moulding, including DFM, cost analysis, and approvals.Skills and Experience:Degree or HNC/HND in Mechanical, Product, or ManufacturingDesirable: sheet metal / control panel / injection mould / toolingCAD (Solidworks preferred)If you are ..... full job details .....
