This is an excellent opportunity for either a Graduate Engineer looking to develop their career or an experienced Design Engineer seeking a varied role with involvement across the full product development lifecycle.Shift: 38-hour week, FlexitimeSalary and Benefits:Salary of 28,000 - 45,000Flexitime workingHealthcare SchemeCompany Sick Pay after 2 years'' serviceSupportive and collaborative working environmentRoles and Responsibilities:Design and develop new products and improve existing designsProduce 3D CAD models, engineering drawings and technical documentationManage projects from concept through to manufactureWork closely with Production to ensure designs are practical and cost-effectiveCreate and maintain Bills of Materials (BOMs)Support tooling, jig and fixture design where requiredResolve technical and manufacturing issues and contribute to continuous improvement activitiesKnowledge, Skills and Experience:HNC/HND, Degree or equivalent in Mechanical Engineering, Product Design, Manufacturing Engineering or a related disciplineExperience using 3D CAD software, with SolidWorks experience desirableGood understanding of engineering design principles and design for manufactureKnowledge of materials and manufacturing processesAbility to produce accurate engineering drawings and technical documentationStrong ..... full job details .....
