Design Engineer

About this Position:
This role is for a Design Engineer supporting the development of motorcycle bodywork and seating components, contributing to the design and refinement of high-quality parts within a collaborative engineering environment. The position combines on-site involvement with flexibility, requiring attendance on-site two days per week, with scope for adjustment for the right individual.

Job Responsibilities:

• Support the design and development of motorcycle bodywork and seat components
• Produce and modify 3D models and engineering drawings using Creo
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure design feasibility and quality
• Contribute to design reviews, prototyping, and product validation activities
• Apply knowledge of materials and manufacturing processes, particularly plastics
• Ensure designs meet performance, durability, and aesthetic requirements

Experience Required:

• Proven experience as a Design Engineer within automotive or motorcycle sectors
• Strong proficiency in Creo, ideally at an advanced level
• Experience with plastics design for interior and/or exterior components
• Motorcycle industry experience preferred, though automotive backgrounds considered
• Understanding of product development processes from concept through to production
• Ability to work both independently and within a team environment
