Your new roleAs a Design Engineer, you will play a key role in the development and improvement of bespoke machinery and equipment. Working closely with cross-functional teams, you will take ownership of design projects from concept through to manufacture.Key responsibilities will include:Designing and developing mechanical machinery and components using CAD software (e.g., SolidWorks or similar)Producing detailed engineering drawings in line with manufacturing standardsCollaborating with production, quality and project teams to ensure design feasibility and efficiencySupporting continuous improvement initiatives and design optimisationLiaising with suppliers and customers where required to ensure project deliveryAssisting with prototype development and testingWhat you''ll need to succeedTo be successful in this role, you will have:A degree (or equivalent) in Mechanical Engineering or a related disciplineProven experience in a design engineering role within manufacturing or machinery environmentsStrong CAD skills (SolidWorks preferred or similar 3D package)Knowledge of mechanical systems, materials and manufacturing processesExcellent problem-solving skills ..... full job details .....
