Design Engineer role As a Design Engineer you will be involved with Demolition, Remediation and Enabling works on new build housing developments. Duties and responsibilities: Carry out initial drainage and infrastructure feasibility designs to support land appraisals and cost planning. Prepare early stage road and sewer layouts for site feasibility and value engineering purposes. Assess site constraints and provide technical input during the land acquisition process. Liaise with Technical, Land and Planning teams to inform site layouts from a drainage and levels perspective. Instruct and manage external consulting engineers to undertake detailed road, sewer, and levels design. Review and coordinate S104, S38, and S278 technical submissions prepared by consultants.
