      <description>Location: Chesterfield | Salary: 10000-500000 Annual | Type: Permanent | Design Engineer - Solidworks - Vehicle Conversion - Chesterfield - Derbyshire  Brooklyn Recruitment currently have an exciting role available in the Clay Cross area of Derbyshire for a Design Engineer within an engineering company who are currently going from strength to strength. This company works in a niche area within the automotive sector (vehicle conversions). This position is office based.   As Design Engineer you will be responsible for both bespoke and standardised product offerings from conception through to completion. Your day to day duties will involve:  Creating designs for customer sign off Producing BOM''s Checking specifications for feasibility Developing and maintaining build manuals for the core product range Developing prototype and bespoke vehicles with production staff Recording any design changes Using Solidworks to create 3D models Other duties as required   This Design Engineer''s position has excellent working hours:  Monday - Thursday 8.30am - 5pm  Friday 8.30am - 3pm!
