Contechs is recruiting experienced CAD/ Design Engineering Consultants on behalf of a prestigious Luxury Automotive OEM based in the UK (remote working).

Job Description

As a CAD Engineering Consultant (NX), you will be responsible for supporting the design and development of automotive components and systems, ensuring high-quality CAD deliverables throughout the product development lifecycle.

Key Responsibilities

• Create and develop high-quality 3D CAD models using Siemens NX.
• Prepare Part Manufacturing Information (PMI), either model-based or through 2D drawings.
• Manage engineering data within the Teamcenter PLM system.
• Support the preparation and release of Engineering Release Packs.
• Collaborate with cross-functional engineering teams to ensure design requirements are met.

Required Experience & Skills

• Minimum 5 years'' experience using Siemens NX.
• Proven experience within Automotive Body Structures, Interiors, or Exteriors.
• Strong working knowledge of Siemens NX and Teamcenter (essential).
• Experience creating and maintaining complex 3D CAD models.
• Understanding of engineering release processes and PLM data management.
• Excellent attention to detail and ability to work independently in a remote environment.
