Design Draughtsperson / CAD Technician

An opportunity has arisen for skilled Design Draughtspersons to join a busy engineering environment with an immediate start. Positions are available on both a contract and permanent basis. The successful candidates will support the design and modification of engineering drawings, primarily within sheet metal and fabrication projects. Positions Available 2 x Contract Roles 3-month duration (rate dependent on experience) 1 x Permanent Role Salary up to £40,000 (depending on experience) Key Responsibilities Modify existing sheet metal and fabrication drawings to meet customer requirements Work in accordance with ISO 9001 Quality Management System standards Collaborate with production engineers, fabricators, assembly operators, and other shop floor personnel Interpret and work from engineering drawings accurately Required Skills and Experience Proficiency in AutoCAD 2D (essential) Experience with 3D AutoCAD and/or SolidWorks (desirable) Familiarity with Autodesk Vault for data management (beneficial; training can be provided) Competence in Microsoft Office and Outlook Strong ability to read and understand technical engineering drawings Typical Projects Steel security doors and related fabricated products What We re Looking For Strong attention to detail and accuracy Ability to work effectively within a team environment Good communication skills across technical and non-technical teams A proactive and adaptable approach to work ..... full job details .....
