Design Draughtsman

A great opportunity for a Design Draughtsman is now available to join an Oil and Gas company based in Aberdeen. You will be joining a company who are specialists in products such as subsea connectors, subsea penetrators, subsea junction boxes and more. You will play a crucial role within the engineering team, creating detailed design drawings using Solidworks. They are fully committed to providing work of the highest quality to their clients, leading to repeat business and a strong reputation.

Responsibilities:

• Create 3D models and detailed 2D drawings using Solidworks and Vault.
• Develop accurate representations of product components, assemblies and systems.
• Generate technical documentation.
• Ensure all drawings and documentation are compliant with relevant codes and standards.
• Work with Engineers and other stakeholders.
• Participate in design reviews.
• Maintain an organised file management system.
• Prioritise and manage multiple projects to meet deadlines.

Skills and Experience:

• Previous experience in a similar role.
• Experience using Solidworks and Vault
• Strong attention to detail.
• Strong communicator and teamwork skills.
