Design Coordinator

An excellent opportunity has arisen for an experienced Design Coordinator to join a growing and well-respected SME main contractor delivering a wide range of planned works, refurbishment and maintenance projects. This is an exciting opportunity to join a collaborative business that places a strong emphasis on quality, teamwork and professional development. You will play a key role in coordinating the design process from pre-construction through to project completion, ensuring all technical information is delivered accurately, on time and ready for construction. The Role Working closely with the Commercial, Operations and Site teams, you will be responsible for managing the flow of design information across multiple projects, coordinating external consultants and ensuring design programmes remain on track. This role would suit someone with previous experience in planned works, refurbishment, retrofit, social housing or Design and Build projects who enjoys working in a fast-paced environment and has excellent organisational and communication skills. Key Responsibilities Coordinate design activities from tender stage through to completion and final handover. Manage drawing registers, design trackers, RFI logs and design programmes. Ensure drawings and technical information are reviewed, approved and issued through the Common Data Environment (CDE).
