£45,000 - £50,000 basic + £5,000 Car or Allowance + 15% BonusLocation -
London. Hybrid working, but a minimum of 3 days a week on site in East London.Role Description
The Resolute Group is working in partnership with a Tier 1 contractor to deliver infrastructure projects across the UK. There is an opportunity in their London division to work under a Design Manager in delivering a £100m project in East London over the next 2 years.Responsibilities include the management, coordination and integration of the Rail systems from the Design consultancy to the site delivery team. The Design Coordinator acts as a Project Manager for the design team, interfacing with both internal and external stakeholders. Takes a lead in meetings to ensure the design process is delivered correctly, with any modifications recorded and updated across the systems and stakeholders.Day-to-day duties may include:Coordinate with design teams and other relevant parties to gather information on coordination documents showing interface clashes with third parties.Monitor and manage interface management, communicating any technical issues related to interfaces from the Design to the Delivery teams.Participate in resolving technical issues related to system integration.Take part in internal workshop/design review meetings.Draft minutes from design review meetings and follow up with stakeholders to ensure milestones are achieved on time.Ensure work is carried out in accordance with agreed client designs and specifications, and with contractual terms.This is a site-based role, working from site offices a minimum of 3 days a week, with 2 days a week from home or as required by the business. This is a step from consultancy into main contractor work, aimed at gaining more site-based experience and chartered status.Required Experience
Degree qualified, ideally in Engineering.Post-graduation experience in a UK-based consultancy or contractor, ideally Rail (focus on projects such as P-way, Signalling, OHL, Civil Engineering, etc.).This role is suitable for someone looking to move away from hands-on design or consultancy and into delivering a project on-site.Important Information
