Design Coordinator

Fawkes & Reece are working with a leading Tier 1 contractor who are looking to appoint a Design Coordinator to join one of London''s most significant live construction projects - an -800m multi-storey data centre development in London.

This is a fantastic opportunity to work on a highly technical, large-scale scheme where you''ll be involved in coordinating key design packages from pre-construction through to delivery, working alongside an experienced Senior Design Manager and project team.

The Role

You''ll play a key role in coordinating the steelwork and fa-ade design packages, ensuring information is delivered on programme, technically compliant, and fully coordinated across the wider project.

Your responsibilities will include:

• Coordinating steelwork and fa-ade design submissions, drawings and technical documentation.
• Managing design deliverables against programme milestones.
• Coordinating between specialist subcontractors, consultants and internal teams.
• Managing RFIs, technical queries, design comments and action trackers.
• Supporting BIM coordination and resolving interface clashes.
• Coordinating fa-ade approvals, mock-ups and material submissions.
• Ensuring compliance with project specifications, fire strategy and planning requirements.
• Managing interfaces between structural, architectural and MEP packages.
• Supporting design workshops, technical reviews and stakeholder meetings.
• Assisting the Senior Design Manager with reporting, programme management and design governance.
