TeacherActive is proud to be working with a welcoming mainstream secondary school seeking to appoint a dedicated Design & Technology Teacher. The school is committed to delivering a high-quality education within a supportive and inclusive environment where both students and staff are encouraged to achieve their full potential.

The school is looking to appoint a Design & Technology Teacher from September on a full-time maternity contract. The successful Design & Technology Teacher will be responsible for delivering engaging Design & Technology lessons, inspiring students across Key Stages 3 and 4, maintaining high classroom standards and supporting pupils to achieve excellent academic progress throughout the duration of the contract.

The successful Design & Technology Teacher will have:

• QTS with a Design & Technology specialism (ECTs are welcome to apply)
• Experience teaching Design & Technology within a UK secondary school environment
• Excellent classroom management skills
• The ability to plan and deliver engaging practical and theory-based lessons
• Strong communication and organisational skills
• A positive, adaptable and enthusiastic approach
