About the Role
This is an exciting opportunity to teach Design andamp; Technologyandnbsp;across Key Stages 3 and 4andnbsp;in a supportive, forward-thinking secondary school. The successful candidate will be responsible for delivering engaging and innovative lessonsandnbsp;across a range of DT disciplines, including Resistant Materials, Product Design, and potentially Electronicsandnbsp;or Graphics, depending on your area of expertise.
You will join a collaborative and creative facultyandnbsp;that values practical, hands-on learning and is committed to fostering student achievement and enthusiasm for design. The department is well-resourced, and you''ll have the opportunity to contribute to curriculum development and enrichment activities that inspire the next generation of designers and makers.
The ideal candidate will:
- Qualified Teacher Status (QTS)andnbsp;or an equivalent UK-recognised teaching qualification
- Proven experience teaching Design andamp; Technologyandnbsp;at the secondary school level
- Confident in planning and delivering engaging, hands-on practical lessonsandnbsp;across a range of DT disciplines
- Demonstrates enthusiasm, flexibility, and a strong commitment to high-quality teaching and learning
- Available to start in October 2025
