They learn when they understand the process first.  As a Secondary Design &amp; Technology Teacher, you will guide KS3 and KS4 students through planning, designing, and improving their work in a structured and practical way.   Key responsibilities   Teach Design &amp; Technology across KS3 and KS4  Deliver lessons covering design, creation, and evaluation  Support students in developing practical skills  Ensure safe and correct use of tools and equipment  Prepare students for GCSE coursework  Maintain an organised and structured workshop  Track progress and provide feedback   The classroom environment   Lessons are planned and structured  Students follow clear processes  Work is completed safely and efficiently  Behaviour is calm and controlled   Skills and experience   Experience teaching DT or strong practical background  Confidence managing workshop environments  Strong organisation and preparation skills  Clear communication   What success looks like   Students improve their work over time ...</description>
