Design & Technology Teacher - Location: Rugby
Start Date: September 2026 (or as soon as possible thereafter)
Contract: Full-Time - Salary: Competitive, dependent on experience
We are seeking a passionate and dedicated Design & Technology Teacher to join a welcoming secondary school in the Rugby area from September. This is an excellent opportunity for an enthusiastic educator who can inspire students and deliver engaging lessons across Key Stages 3 and 4.

The Role

As a Design & Technology Teacher, you will:

• Plan and deliver high-quality Design & Technology lessons to secondary-aged students.
• Create a positive and inclusive learning environment that supports student achievement.
• Assess, monitor, and record student progress effectively.
• Maintain high standards of behaviour and classroom management.
• Contribute to the wider life of the school and department.

The Ideal Candidate

To be considered for this role, you will:

• Hold Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) - highly desirable.
• Have previous UK secondary school teaching experience.
• Be confident teaching Design & Technology across secondary age ranges.
• Demonstrate strong behaviour management skills.
• Possess excellent communication and organisational abilities.
• Have a positive, proactive, and can-do attitude.
• Be committed to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children and young people.
