Design and Technologies Teacher (Woodwork and Metals) Full-time Commencing 2026 Southern Suburbs of Perth Are you passionate about inspiring students through hands-on learning in woodwork, metals, and design? A vibrant, modern secondary college in Perth s southern suburbs is seeking an enthusiastic and skilled Design and Technologies Teacher to join its growing team. This position offers the opportunity to work in a state-of-the-art environment with a supportive, future-focused staff and engaged student community. Preference will be given to teachers with experience in Senior School Design and Technologies. Key Responsibilities Deliver engaging and practical lessons in Woodwork, Metals, and Design Technologies. Teach and assess courses across Years 7 12, with a focus on senior school programs. Integrate STEM principles, safety practices, and real-world applications into learning. Foster creativity, problem-solving, and innovation in student projects. Collaborate with colleagues to design curriculum pathways leading to VET and ATAR outcomes. Maintain workshop safety and oversee the use of machinery and tools in line with school policy and WHS standards. Qualifications and Requirements Current registration (or eligibility) with the Teacher Registration Board of Western Australia (TRBWA). Full Australian working rights.
