Design and Project Engineer

Dutton Recruitment (Sheffield Engineering) are recruiting for:We are looking for a Design and Project Engineer for a contract position based with our client in StokeImmediate start available (subject to interview process)Day rate: 400 to 450 per day (depending on experience and skillset)Purpose of RoleAid in achieving the company''s business goals through the effective design of solutions for clients, project management and driving projects through to completion and customer satisfaction.Deliver design services to support business development and operational functions.Provide technical and engineering support and assistance to other functions within and external to the business.Develop and maintain good internal relationships to ensure project deliverables are achieved in a timely manner.Identify design team requirements, including necessary resources and skills.Ensure quality performance levels are maintained in line with company targets.Ensure output levels are maintained in line with company targets.Day-to-day management of external contractors, providing input into projects.Major AccountabilitiesDesign and Project ManagementEnsure designs are focused towards achieving the estimated costing of the project.Ensure lead times for completing designs are in line with client expectations.Ensure all structural calculations are correct, taking external advice where necessary.Ensure all drawings meet required standards prior to issue for manufacture.Ensure engineering solutions ..... full job details .....
