This role combines product design, 3D CAD modelling and practical manufacturing engineering, offering the opportunity to take projects from initial concept through to production.You''ll play a key role in developing new products, improving existing designs and supporting manufacturing operations. The ideal candidate will have strong experience using SolidWorks and/or Fusion 360 and enjoy working closely with production teams to bring designs to life.Key ResponsibilitiesCreate detailed 3D models, assemblies and technical drawings using SolidWorks and Fusion 360Design and develop new products from concept through to manufactureModify and improve existing products to enhance performance, quality and manufacturabilityProduce manufacturing drawings, bills of materials (BOMs) and engineering documentationSupport prototype development, testing and validation activitiesWork closely with manufacturing and production teams to ensure efficient product deliveryAssist with tooling, fixtures and manufacturing process improvementsLiaise with customers, suppliers and internal departments to define design requirementsSupport continuous improvement initiatives across both design and manufacturing functionsWhat We''re ..... full job details .....
