Design and Compliance Engineer

Our growing engineering clients based close to Havant have an exciting opportunity for a Design and Compliance Engineer to join their growing team. The Design and Compliance Engineer will play a key role in the design, development, and certification of the company s product portfolio. This position combines hands-on product design engineering with regulatory compliance integration, ensuring products are technically robust, manufacturable, and fully certified to relevant UK, European, and international control standards. The role is design-led and technically focused, supporting products from early concept generation through detailed design, testing, certification, and ongoing lifecycle management. Duties and Responsibilities: Develop new product concepts and engineered solutions aligned with performance and market requirements. Produce detailed 3D models and assemblies using CAD software. Generate accurate manufacturing drawings, including tolerances, materials, and fabrication details. Conduct design reviews and iterate concepts based on performance, cost, and manufacturability. Support prototype development and hands-on evaluation. Contribute to value engineering and continuous product improvement initiatives Research new materials, mechanisms, and system improvements to enhance performance and reliability. Support feasibility studies and concept validation testing. Develop technical solutions that balance innovation, compliance, and manufacturing practicality. ..... full job details .....
