They''re looking to appoint a Design and Build Technical Manager to take ownership of technical coordination across multiple live and upcoming schemes.This is a hands-on role where you''ll lead on consultant management, material approvals, compliance, and buildability reviews - ensuring projects progress smoothly from pre-construction through to handover.Key Responsibilities:Manage the full technical design process from planning through to completionCoordinate design consultants, specialist subcontractors, and temporary works designersReview drawings for buildability, compliance, sequencing, and cost efficiencyOversee technical approvals: materials, warranty bodies, fire regs, and structural interfacesLiaise closely with site, commercial, and delivery teams to ensure smooth handoverSupport value engineering and programme improvementsRequirements:Proven experience within a contractor environment in a technical or design manager roleStrong working knowledge of Building Regulations, NHBC, and temporary worksAbility to manage technical queries, resolve design issues, and ensure complianceComfortable operating in a fast-paced, hands-on contractor settingThis is a great opportunity to join a growing contractor with a strong delivery pipeline and a clear focus on quality and safety.
