As a Design & Technology Teacher, you will lead engaging practical sessions. We are looking for an innovative Design & Technology Teacher. This Design & Technology Teacher role is key to our curriculum.

Responsibilities:

• Plan, prepare, and deliver engaging Design & Technology Teacher lessons across Key Stages 3, 4, and 5 (A-level), covering various material areas and design disciplines.
• Foster a stimulating and practical learning environment for creative problem-solving and technical skill development.
• Prepare students effectively for GCSE and A-level Design & Technology examinations, with a strong emphasis on design thinking and practical application.
• Assess and monitor student progress in Design & Technology, providing clear and constructive feedback to support their understanding and project development.

Requirements:

• Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent with a specialism in Design & Technology.
• Demonstrated experience teaching Design & Technology Teacher lessons with a focus on practical skills and theoretical understanding at all key stages.
• A strong and comprehensive knowledge of design principles, material properties, and various manufacturing processes.
• Excellent communication skills, capable of explaining complex technical ideas clearly and engagingly to students.
