Salary: up -40k depending on experience

Our client is a global leader in the design and manufacture of heating and cooling equipment for commercial and industrial applications. Due to continued growth, they are looking to recruit a Design & Application Engineer to join a new department.

The Design & Application Engineer will be responsible for designing and developing HVAC and mechanical solutions, including equipment selection, technical calculations and design documentation for commercial and industrial applications. The role will involve reviewing customer requirements, drawings and specifications while providing technical support and application advice to customers, sales and internal engineering teams. You will work closely with internal and external stakeholders to ensure solutions meet project requirements, industry standards and customer expectations.

The successful Design and Application Engineer will have a background in HVAC and mechanical engineering, with experience in the design, selection and application of heating and cooling equipment and systems for projects, working with the sales team, clients and consultants.

Commercial Refrigeration Engineer Position Requirements

• Strong HVAC and mechanical engineering knowledge, ideally within commercial or industrial environments.
• Experience in HVAC/mechanical design, equipment selection and system applications.
• Ability to interpret technical drawings, specifications and project requirements.
• Strong technical and problem-solving skills, with a good understanding of heating and cooling systems.
• Relevant engineering qualification and CAD experience desirable, with strong communication and customer-facing skills.

Commercial Refrigeration Engineer Position Remuneration

• Up to -40k depending on experience
• 9-5 Monday to Friday
• 25 days plus bank holidays
