Metalis are currently in partnership with a well-established steel company based in Sheffield who are looking to hire Descale Packers on a 12 week temporary to permanent basis.

Duties and Responsibilities:

• Coil Strapping
• FLT driving
• Use of coil compactor, and strapping tools
• Use of Hydraulic and hand crop shears
• Coil grinding
• Data input into a computer

Person Specification:

• Experience working in steel environment
• Experience with FLT''s
• Open to training opportunities

Salary and Shifts:

• 4 on, 4 off - 10-hour shifts
• -12.55ph with 15% shift allowance
• 2 day shifts and 2 night shifts
• No weekend work - 3 day weekend
• 12 weeks temporary to permanent contracts
• Drug/Alcohol and Medical Testing required
