An exciting new job opportunity has arisen for a committed Deputy Ward Manager - Acute Ward to work in an exceptional mental health hospital based in the Southgate, North London area. You will be working for one of UK''s leading health care providers. This is one of the UK’s leading centres for the treatment of a wide range of mental health difficulties including addictions, depression, anxiety, stress and obsessive-compulsive disorder (OCD).To be considered for this position you must be qualified as a Registered Mental Health Nurse (RMN) with a current active NMC Pin.Responsibilities

Works as Senior Nurse on the ward ensuring a safe and therapeutic environment for patients, their families and visitorsApplies relevant policies and statutory requirements within the ward and hospital framework of governance and communicates requirements to the wider teamEnsures that risk is assessed and managed across the immediate and wider working environment and those statutory requirements are metUndertakes Lead roles for the ward, as agreed with the Ward managerActively supports and contributes to effective multi-disciplinary workingQualifications and Skills

The following skills and experience would be preferred and beneficial for the role:The ability to lead and motivate othersA genuine interest in quality service delivery and developmentThe ability to work under pressure and within tight deadlinesNumeracy and evidence of analytical abilityExperience working in inpatient mental health settingsExperience in completing auditsBenefits
