Deputy Team Manager- Children in Care Team- BANES -PART TIME

Social Worker required to join as an Deputy Team Manager work within the Children in Care Team based in Keynsham in the historic county of Bath and North-East Somerset. This is an exciting opportunity with excellent rates of pay up to 38-40ph. 3 month contract but with the opportunity to extend. 22.5 hours per week (3 days). Expectation would be office based in Keynsham at least 2 days a week as a minimum. We are seeking an experienced and motivated Deputy Team Manager to join our Looked After Children (LAC) / Children in Care (CIC) Team in Bath and North East Somerset. This is an exciting opportunity for an ambitious Senior Social Worker or Deputy Team Manager looking to step into a leadership role within a supportive and forward-thinking local authority. You will work alongside the Team Manager to lead, develop and support a team of Social Workers and Personal Advisors to achieve the best possible outcomes for our children and young people in care. Key Responsibilities Support the Team Manager in the operational management of the LAC/CIC team Provide high-quality supervision, guidance and support to Social Workers Oversee care planning, permanence planning and pathway planning Promote stability, permanence and positive outcomes for children in care Support quality assurance and performance management within the team You will be Social Work England registered, ideally a driver with access to own car and able to reside and work in the UK.
