Deputy Support Manager

NewGen Recruitment is looking for an experienced Deputy Support Manager to support an independent living service in Market Weighton, York.

This role would suit a Deputy Support Manager, Senior Support Worker or Team Leader with experience in supported living, learning disabilities, autism or complex support.

Duties include:

• Supporting the day-to-day running of the service
• Guiding and supporting Support Workers
• Assisting with rotas, staffing and service coverage
• Supporting risk assessments, support plans and care records
• Monitoring safeguarding, compliance and quality standards
• Providing hands-on support when required
• Deputising for the Support Manager when needed

Requirements:

• Experience as a Deputy Support Manager, Senior Support Worker or Team Leader
• Supported living, learning disability or autism experience
• Medication training
• Moving and assisting training
• Enhanced DBS
• NVQ Level 3 in Health and Social Care
• Driver preferred
