Adult Social Care has an exciting opportunity for a full time (37 hours) Deputy Social Care Manager position within our Learning Disabilities Team. This role is a combination of frontline and strategic level management. About the Role: Under the direction of the Head of Learning Disability Services, the Deputy Social Care Manager (DSCM) is responsible for ensuring the team''s social work practice and values, to deliver positive outcomes. The DSCM will achieve this through ensuring team arrangements are in place for supervision, workload management, quality assurance and the effective deployment of the budget, staff and additional resources. This is an interesting and varied role within an established and supportive team that are motivated, passionate and engaged. There is a full complement of management in the team which consists of a Head of Learning Disability Services, a Deputy Social Care Manager, Social Work Leads and a Social Care Lead. Other team members include qualified Senior Social Workers, Social Workers, Adult Social Care Practitioners and an administration team.
