Job Title: Deputy SENCO
Area: Kensington, London
Start Date: ASAP
Contract Type: Full-time, Permanent or Long-term
Salary: -35,000 - -45,000 per annum (dependent on experience)
Working hours: Monday to Friday, 8:30am - 4:00pm

Brief description: Support and lead SEN provision in a mainstream secondary school within a growing trust, ensuring high-quality support for all learners.

About the role: Assist the SENCO in managing the SEND department, coordinating support plans, overseeing interventions, and working with staff, parents and external agencies to drive positive outcomes.

We''re looking for a dedicated candidate to:

• Support the strategic development of SEND provision across the school

• Oversee EHCP processes, interventions and progress tracking

• Provide guidance and training to teachers and support staff

• Build strong relationships with families and external professionals

Requirements - The ideal candidate would have:

• Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or extensive experience as a Deputy SENCO

• Strong knowledge of SEND practices and the SEND Code of Practice

• Excellent organisational and leadership skills

• Commitment to safeguarding and inclusive education
