Working closely with the Registered Manager, you will help lead the home, ensuring outstanding standards of care, safeguarding, and regulatory compliance while creating a nurturing environment where children can thrive. This is an excellent opportunity for a passionate childcare professional looking to take the next step in their leadership career within residential children''s services.Key ResponsibilitiesSupport the Registered Manager in the day-to-day operation and management of the home.Lead, supervise, and motivate staff, conducting regular supervisions and supporting professional development.Ensure compliance with the Children''s Homes Regulations 2015, Quality Standards, safeguarding policies, and relevant legislation.Monitor and promote the safety, welfare, and positive outcomes of children and young people.Contribute to care planning, risk assessments, behavioural support plans, and placement reviews.Effectively manage incidents, safeguarding concerns, complaints, and disciplinary matters when required.Support staff recruitment, onboarding, induction, and ongoing training.Maintain accurate records, reports, and documentation to a high standard.Build positive relationships with social workers, families, schools, healthcare professionals, and other partner agencies. ..... full job details .....
