Deputy Nursery Manager

Purpose of PostTo work under the direction of the Manager and to deputise in their absence as and when required. The role will also be room based in our toddler room.To support the aims and objectives of the Nursery and assist the Manager in the organisation of a high quality establishment for children from 6 weeks to 5 years.To provide high standards of childcare and education – to include the monitoring and reviews of the Nursery, this includes providing a safe, caring and welcoming environment to enable the emotional, social and educational development of children, through individual attention and group activities.To direct and support staff as agreed by the Nursery Manager.Key areasWorking with the Manager and staff to run daily operations smoothly .Working with children to help them learn and develop.Liaise with parents daily.To be the lead SENDCO for the setting.Hours of Work37.5 Hours Per WeekOpening / Closing Rotation with the ..... full job details .....
