nursery is looking for a Deputy Nursery Manager to support the day-to-day running of the setting, with a balance of time spent in the room and supernumerary hours to lead, mentor, and manage. What You’ll Bring:

Level 3 qualification in Early Years
(essential)
Proven
experience in a senior or deputy role
in an early years setting
In-depth knowledge of the EYFS, child development, and safeguarding practices

Key Responsibilities:
Lead and model outstanding practice within the room
Use supernumerary hours to complete management tasks and support team development
Oversee the implementation of the EYFS and ensure consistent, high-quality provision
Build trusted relationships with families and create a welcoming environment for all
Monitor health, safety, and safeguarding across the setting
Support ongoing staff training, appraisals, and reflective practice
Contribute to the continuous improvement of the nursery’s practice and environment
