Deputy Nursery Manager

Working closely with the Nursery Manager, the Deputy Manager will play a key role in supporting the day-to-day running of the nursery, leading a team of practitioners to provide high-quality care and early education in line with the EYFS framework. The service is proud of its welcoming environment, where each child is seen as an individual and staff are supported to thrive.,Support the overall management of the nursery and step in during the Manager''s absenceLead by example to ensure a safe, nurturing, and stimulating environment for childrenMentor and support staff, helping to develop their confidence and skillsBuild strong relationships with parents and carers, encouraging open and positive communicationEnsure compliance with safeguarding, health and safety, and regulatory standardsContribute to planning and delivering a broad and balanced curriculumPlay an active role in staff recruitment, inductions, and training

Level 3 qualification in Early Years (or above) - essentialPrevious experience as a Deputy Manager, or a very experienced Room Leader/Third in Charge looking to step upStrong knowledge of the EYFS framework, safeguarding, and Ofsted expectationsExcellent leadership and communication skillsPassionate about early years education and committed to continuous improvementA positive, hands-on approach and a genuine love for working with children
