The Role As a Deputy Nursery Manager, you will work closely with the Nursery Manager to oversee day-to-day operations and lead by example. Your key responsibilities will include: Operational Management: Supporting the manager in all aspects of nursery operations, including compliance with EYFS standards and Ofsted regulations. Leadership and Mentoring: Leading, motivating, and inspiring staff, supporting their professional development, and helping with recruitment and inductions. Child Care and Quality: Ensuring the highest standards of care and education are maintained, and acting as a lead for safeguarding and SEND. Partnership with Parents: Building strong relationships with families to ensure a collaborative approach to their children''s learning. Absence Coverage: Leading and coaching in the manager''s absence Requirements: Qualifications: A full and relevant Level 3 Childcare Qualification (or higher) is essential.
