Deputy Nursery Manager (x2) Parkwood, Maidstone Salary: £28,000 per year 30 hours per week (Monday-Friday) Shifts: 7:00am-1:00pm or 12:00pm-6:00pm (alternating monthly)About the RoleWe are excited to be recruiting two Deputy Nursery Managers for a brand-new, beautifully designed nursery opening in Parkwood, Maidstone.This is a fantastic opportunity to join at the very beginning of an exciting new setting, helping to shape its growth and culture from the ground up. The nursery will initially care for around 10 children, with plans to expand over time.The setting has strong links with a local school and will be overseen by a Headteacher, offering an excellent support network and opportunities for professional development, while remaining on a separate site.Working Pattern30 hours per week, Monday to FridayTwo shift patterns: 7:00am - 1:00pm12:00pm - 6:00pmShifts will alternate monthlyKey ResponsibilitiesSupport the day-to-day running of the nurseryLead and motivate team members to deliver high-quality care and educationEnsure safeguarding and welfare requirements are fully metBuild strong relationships with children, parents, and staffSupport the Nursery Manager and Headteacher in developing the provision as it growsRequirementsLevel 2 or Level 3 qualification in Childcare (essential)Previous experience as a: Nursery Room Leader, orDeputy Nursery Manager, orNursery ManagerStrong leadership and organisational skillsA passion for early years education and child developmentA ..... full job details .....
