Deputy Nursery Manager

We are seeking a passionate and experienced Deputy Nursery Manager to join a thriving early years setting in the Oxford area. This is an exciting opportunity for a motivated childcare professional with strong leadership skills who is committed to delivering high-quality care and education. You will support the Nursery Manager with the day-to-day running of the setting, help lead and develop the nursery team, and ensure children receive the best possible start in life. Location: Oxford area Salary: Around 34,000 per annum, negotiable depending on experience Job Type: Permanent, Full-Time Start Date: ASAP Key Responsibilities: Support the Nursery Manager with the effective day-to-day running of the nursery. Lead, motivate and support staff to deliver high standards of care and education. Ensure the provision meets EYFS requirements, safeguarding standards and relevant regulatory requirements. Support the planning and delivery of engaging, age-appropriate learning activities. Build positive relationships with parents, carers and colleagues. Help maintain a safe, welcoming and stimulating environment for children. Support staff development, performance and continuous improvement. About You: Previous experience in an early years setting, ideally in a senior or leadership role. A relevant early years childcare qualification.
