A nursing home in the Kilmarnock area has an exciting opportunity for an experienced RGN, RMN or RNLD Registered Nurse to join the team as Deputy Nurse Manager.

- A permanent contract, working full-time 40 hours per week on day shifts
- 22 hours working on the floor providing clinical care and 18 hours supernumerary

As Deputy Nurse Manager your duties and responsibilities will include:
- Supporting the Home Manager with the day-to-day running of the service
- Providing clinical leadership and working alongside the nursing and care teams
- Delivering high-quality, person-centred care to residents
- Undertaking clinical assessments, care planning and risk assessments
- Administering and overseeing medication management
- Supervising, mentoring and developing Nurses and Care Assistants
- Supporting audits, inspections and ensuring compliance with Care Inspectorate standards
- Acting as part of the on-call management rota
Applicants for this Deputy Nurse Manager position should meet the following criteria:
- NMC registered Adult General Nurse (RGN), Mental Health Nurse (RMN) or Learning Disabilities Nurse (RNLD)
- Previous experience in a Deputy Manager, Clinical Lead or Senior Nurse position
- Strong leadership skills with the ability to motivate and develop a clinical team
- Good knowledge of Care Inspectorate standards and nursing home regulations
- Excellent communication, organisational and clinical skills
- A compassionate and person-centred approach to care
