An exciting new job opportunity has arisen for a committed Nurse Deputy Home Manager to work in an exceptional care home based in the Stourbridge, Dudley area.You will be working for one of UK''s leading health care providersThis care home offers temporary accommodation for respite and rehabilitation offering the highest possible standards of care and support to older people with dementia and our philosophy is to see beyond the illness recognising the wider needs of the individual**To be considered for this position you must be qualified as a Registered Nurse with a current active NMC Pin**As the Deputy Manager your key responsibilities include:Assist the Service Manager in providing leadership to staff in order to deliver the highest possible quality of care within a safe working and living environmentLead the nursing teams to provide high quality, person centred care and support in way which promotes: dignity; privacy; safety and independence and which promotes equality and diversity for everyone living and working in the ServiceSupport the Service Manager to manage the effective use of resources, including those which impact on the financial performance of the Service, and maintain high levels of occupancyComply with all regulatory and legislative requirements at all timesEnsure the smooth and effective running of the transitional unit within the home and liaise with external health professionalsProvide Clinical Leadership and supervision within the ServiceWill have full accountability for Infection Control implementation and audit throughput the serviceThe following skills and experience would be preferred and beneficial for the role:Show leadership qualities and lead by exampleHave excellent clinical skillsBe hard working and willing to go the extra mile for patientsShow empathy and warmth to patientsYou should have good Dementia care experienceAble to write and audit care plansAssist in assessmentsExperience in managing staff and ensuring the service runs smoothlyThe successful Deputy Manager will receive an excellent salary of £43,546 per annum.This exciting position is a permanent full time role for 37.5 hours a week on day shifts.In return for your hard work and commitment you will receive the following generous benefits:35 days annual leaveIndividualised professional development programmesRefer a Friend Scheme of up to £1,000Retail/Leisure/Holiday and travel discountsReference ID: 3327To apply for this fantastic job role, please call on 0121 638 0567 or send your ..... full job details .....
