Deputy Manager - Supported Accomodation

Position: Ofsted Deputy Manager - Supported Accommodation
Location: Plymouth, Devon
Salary: £35,000 – £43,000 per annum
Hours: Full-time, Permanent

Career Makers are partnering with a highly regarded care provider who are seeking an experienced and committed Ofsted Deputy Manager to support the management of their Supported Accommodation services for young people aged 16–17.
 

Working alongside the Ofsted Registered Manager, you will play a key role in ensuring the service is safe, well-led, compliant and focused on achieving positive outcomes for young people. You will provide leadership to the staff team, support safeguarding and quality assurance, and help ensure compliance with Ofsted requirements, Supported Accommodation Regulations and Quality Standards.
 

This role would suit an experienced Deputy Manager, Team Leader or Senior Practitioner with a strong background in children's services who is ready to take on greater responsibility for service leadership and development.

Responsibilities as an Ofsted Deputy Manager:

• Support the Registered Manager with the day-to-day running and compliance of the service.
  Lead and develop the staff team, ensuring strong safeguarding and care standards.
• Oversee quality assurance, risk management and positive outcomes for young people.

Requirements as an Ofsted Deputy Manager:

• Previous experience within Supported Accommodation, Children's Residential Care, Leaving Care or similar services
• Previous experience as a Deputy Manager, Team Leader, Senior Support Worker or equivalent
• Level 3 qualification in Health & Social Care, Children and Young People's Workforce, Residential Childcare or equivalent
