Deputy Manager - Children''s Residential Home

Location: Ashford, Kent
Salary: -35,000 - -39,000 per annum

Are you an experienced Senior Residential Support Worker, Team leader or Deputy Manager looking for your next challenge?

We are recruiting for a dedicated Deputy Manager to join a well-established 4-bed Therapeutic Children''s Residential Home, supporting young people to achieve positive outcomes in a safe, nurturing, and therapeutic environment.

Working alongside the Registered Manager, you''ll play a key role in leading the team, maintaining high standards of care, and ensuring the home continues to provide outstanding support for the children and young people.

The Role

• Support the Registered Manager with the day-to-day running of the home.
• Lead, motivate and develop the care team.
• Ensure the home remains compliant with Ofsted regulations and company policies.
• Promote positive outcomes and safeguard the welfare of all young people.
• Participate in the management on-call rota as required.
• Assist with staff supervision, recruitment and training.
• Build positive relationships with families, professionals and external agencies.

What We''re Looking For

• Experience working within a Children''s Residential Home.
• Previous experience as a Senior Residential Support Worker or Deputy Manager.
• Level 3 Diploma in Residential Childcare (essential).
• Level 5 Diploma in Leadership & Management for Residential Childcare, or willingness to work towards it.
• Strong leadership and communication skills.
• Passion for making a genuine difference to young people''s lives.
• Full UK Driving Licence.
